No fireworks in Atlanta at Centennial Park because of severe weather. Good thing I didnt' go downtown hoping to catch the fireworks, I'd have been very bummed and sitting in traffic for nothing ;)

However, on NBC since they're not airing the Atlanta fireworks display, they are showing the one in NYC. yay. :) So I'm seeing the same fireworks as you are Julz. ;) Hope you enjoyed seeing them in person, they looked pretty awesome on tv! I loved the ones that looked like big smiley faces. ;)

Lots to tell about what I've been up to the last few days, but I'm so exhausted, and it's time for bed. maybe I"ll have time ot post tomorrow evening. Hope you are all doing well. *hugs*

It's so interesting because I read a quote by Nicole Kidman (of all people) that explained her divorce as being "a series of little deaths." And I thought, how incredibly appropriate. Divorce feels like so many things in your life being torn apart and killed off, so I can totally relate and I've never heard it put so succinctly.

This one made me smile and giggle and just imagine the possibilities. Oh how much easier my life would be if this were so.



You know, Colleen, possessing fabulous wealth creates a lot of responsibilities. Enormous responsibilities. HUGE.

I tell you what, this has been manifesting itself in my life so much lately. so i believe it. :)

In case you all haven't yet figured out how much I just *LOVE* AFI and Davey Havok.. another chance for you to figure it out.

I frequently check out their myspace site, and today, I saw a blog post showing that you can go to MTV.com and listen to the ENTIRE album before it's released on Tuesday!!!!! ;) So guess what I am doing right now???? Oh my god. I've only heard 2 songs, and I'm in love. This new album sounds just wonderful. :) any other AFI fans out there on my friends list.. I highly recommend you check it out.

Dream of "the life," Colleen, not the money. Because always, it's "the life" that draws the money, and not the other way around.

My latest book that I just read (and have since finished) is called "Living on Purpose: Straight answers to life's tough questions" by Dan Millman. IT had a lot of great quotes and such in it. Just a short one. My long day is over. Not terribly bad, thank goodness. One happy thing that happened today. Kyle got on my case about not taking off next Thursday for my birthday. After giving it thought, I decided she was right. So I was about to put up my request and Jennifer said, "i'll work it for you!" I said, "really?" So she signed my request, and I told her that in exchange, I would cover her Monday shift (Memorial Day) from 8:30-3 as she's having one last vacation before she has her baby. So that worked out well. I have my birthday off. Plans? Therapy, a massage, and whatever else comes up, at least it's not work.

Oh, and guess who's #1 in the books again?? yep, me. Am I happy about this? meh. It's ok.

Not much else to really say right now. I'm tired, and sore. Off to have a bath, with a glass of chamomile tea and then to bed. Hope you guys have a good night. Got a busy day tomorrow. Therapy, massage, work. Night.

Sometimes, that universe knows just when and what I need.
